The international pre-season floorball tournament "Latvian Open" will take place in Valmiera and Kocēni for the sixteenth time from 24th to 28th of August. Team applications for this year's tournament will be accepted until August 1.

"Latvian Open" is an officially recognized tournament of the Latvian Floorball Union (LFU), and it's included in the list of summer elite tournaments of the International Floorball Federation (IIF). All tournament matches will be refereed by LFU licensed referees and will take place on three standard size pitches equipped with Gerflor flooring. The competition will be held in accordance with the IFF approved floorball rules. Game time in the men's TOP group - 3x20 minutes (effective time), but in the other groups 2x15 minutes (effective time).

At the end of the registration period, the teams will be divided into divisions and subgroups according to their rating, in which the teams will play a single round tournament. Four games will be guaranteed for each team. The order of the playoff system in each group will be specified after the application deadline, considering the number of teams entered.
